Story: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/plumber-finds-140000-stashed-under-bath-in-exira-mans-mansion-8832990.html
This is a similar article to the one I did earlier in the week about the Boston man who found $40,000 and returned it. A man in the UK found 140,000 pounds, equal to over $224,000 under a bath in a former billionaire's mansion. While the man in Boston was praised a hero and a reward fund was almost immediately started, this man, a plumber, was barely recognized for his honesty. I find this to be very interesting because while both were not well off, only one man received an enormous thanks for his good will. The article focused more on the previous owner's misfortune than the man that found the money. In fact, his name is never mentioned. The government of the location of where the money was found, which from what I could tell was also never mentioned, is deciding who will get the money. I can only hope the plumber wins the money because he needs it more than a billionaire who was thrown in jail for killing a cop.
