I think it would be an interesting news story to talk about the legalization of gay marriages. Recently it was made legal in New Jersey, so I think it would be appealing to see how other states and even countries value this law. Its a very versatile topic depending on the area you are focusing on. Also it is a very talked about topic that many people have strong opinions on.
