Tommy Arena's response to Chasing Ice

Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed watching the film Chasing Ice.  James Balog was on a mission to show the world that climate change is happening right now.  His pictures displayed the large scale change in the glaciers.  He backed up all of his theories with facts that make climate change seem undeniable.  The pictures that Balog took showed the beauty of the ice.  After watching this film I wish I did not drive a car that used so much gas.  I believe that James Balog was successful in the purpose of the film.  Chasing Ice made me want to do something to help out his cause.  Overall, I believe that the film Chasing Ice was a great story of this photographers journey and effectively showed the viewers that climate change is real and is going on as we speak.
