I think it would be interesting to compare the drinking habits of college students in America compared to countries where the drinking age is lower. For example, in Europe there are places that say if you can see over the bar, you can drink. I would imagine that drinking amongst teens in the US would not be as bad if they were allowed to get used to the idea at an earlier age and their parents could guide them towards safe drinking habits that they can use by the time they get to be young adults at around the 18-21 year range. I would be very interested to see if there have been any studies done on this.
