Chasing ICE response

Before watching the film, Chasing Ice, I had a general thought and notion of what was happening due to global warming.  I heard it often, "the glaciers are going to melt and flood the whole world", but after seeing the film I know it is no longer a petty concern.  Balog’s pictures capture the natural beauty of our world and that we are destroying these ancient landmarks day by day.  The film paints the perfect picture of the saying, “out of sight, out of mind”.  The people of our century created bad emissions, uses of chemicals, and improper, unnecessary uses of resources without seeing the actual results before hand.  It illustrates that you can no longer be skeptic of the tragedy happening to these glaciers.  The purpose of this film was to impact the educated, able people of our world that global warming is not to be mistaken for a myth.  After watching this motion picture everyone should be moved to worry about the factual effects of the melting of these glaciers.
