A Northampton man has been dressing like a clown and walking the streets, creeping everyone out. The clown was first spotted on September 13th, Friday the 13th. According to eye witnesses, this mysterious clown does not juggle or make balloon animals. All he does is stare. Although he does not do much but stare into the street, he is active on Facebook. His page on Facebook has over 50,000 subscribers, and he posts statuses such as "I don't terrorize people" and "I just want to be spotted". While many people think that this a cute and fun idea, there are others who disagree. Many people have a phobia against clowns and just feel uncomfortable with this whole situation.
I think that this is a funny prank that some guy is taking too far. Yes, on Friday the 13th I'm sure this was hilarious, but it is getting old really fast. A week is long enough for a mysterious clown that no one knows who face is under that paint to just be wandering the streets of Northampton. It also seems a bit insensitive to me as well, knowing that many people are afraid of clowns this man is still going on with this played out prank.
