850 Snakes found in man's home- Tommy Arena

A man in Shirley, New York, was illegally selling snakes inside of his house.  The man had over 850 snakes including 2 Burmese Pythons, some turtles and turtle eggs.  Some snakes were over 6 feet long.  The reptiles were valued at about $500,000.  The man was running an online business called "Snakeman's Exotics".  This man's actions put his neighbors in danger.  I did not think that a snake business would be centered in new york.  I would expect it to be in a warmer climate.  The author typically covers police centered articles and this was an odd one.
