After wedding plans had gone seriously wrong, Willie and Carol Fowler decided to take their problem and turn it into a solution. Their daughter had cancelled the wedding planned in Georgia with only a forty day notice and left her parents confused and frustrated due to the fact that all of the entertainment and food has already been paid for. What exactly were they going to do with a four course meal and wedding entertainment if there was no wedding? In the process of canceling the venue Wille Fowler the father of the ex bride-to-be decided that in instead of letting this all go to waste why not do something for someone and donate it. Their daughter had volunteered at an organization called Hosea Feed the Hungry which helped homeless people in the Atlanta area. Two hundred homeless people were bused to the Venue called Villa Christina where they received a little piece of heaven that night. Employees of the Hosea Feed the Hungry initally thought that it was a prank phone call because you do not normally hear of one person who would ever do this. The advice that the Fowler family has is that if you ever need an event cancelled make the best out of the situation. Do not walk away from it, and anybody can do something like this you do not have to be a celebrity.
I found this article extremely rewarding to read. You do not hear of people in this day in age ever do something like that it is kind of like a diamond in the rough. I really liked this article and it reminded me of the homeless man who returned the 42,000 instead of keeping it to himself. There are still some good people in this world.
